| Annual Members Show (All Eligible) We Create California: “Voices Shaping California Today” Send us your images now for the postcard and show! Postcard production is waiting for you!! Made in California: Voices Shaping California Today The Sun Gallery invites artists to submit work for We Create California, a group exhibition celebrating the many voices actively shaping California today. California has always been defined by movement—of people, ideas, cultures, and creativity. From those who arrived generations ago to those who have recently made California home, this exhibition honors the artists whose work reflects the evolving identity of this place we share. While we recognize the powerful role of immigration in shaping California, this exhibition is intentionally expansive. We welcome artists of all backgrounds whose work explores themes of identity, community, belonging, culture, change, resilience, and the everyday act of creating life here. Whether rooted in migration, ancestry, or lived experience in California, we are interested in work that reflects how individuals and communities contribute to the California of today. The show dates will be June 19 to July 31, 2026, at the Sun Gallery in Hayward.
