Monetary Donations
Money collected by the Sun Gallery goes into our exhibits and art programs for children, youth, adults, artists, and art lovers. We are a non-profit 501c3 art gallery dedicated to serving the East Bay. Some of the programs include Summer Art Camp for kids, art tours, Free Saturday Art for Families, Instructional art workshops, and creative programs.
All donations to the gallery are tax-deductible.
Item Donations

Fridays from 11am-4pm
If you would like to donate supplies that will help aid our day to day gallery operations, here is a list of items we regularly need and would greatly appreciate!
- Cat food
- Paper towels
- Toilet paper
- Kleenex
- Painter’s tape/masking tape
- Drinks, bottled waters
- Coffee, tea bags
- Copy paper
- Yellow legal pads
We will happily accept art supplies, equipment, books, paper, etc. on a case-by-case basis, but may need to refuse donations depending on our needs and capacity. If you are unsure about the items you wish to donate, feel free to call the gallery, or email us at info@sungallery.org and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Disclaimer: Sun Gallery does not wish to be held liable for personal property loaned to the gallery for short term use. Due to this, we do not accept loaned/leased/advanced/etc. items/equipment, as we cannot guarantee the longevity, condition, and storage of personal property left in care of gallery staff.
Items left in gallery care for an extended time will be considered a donation to the Sun Gallery, and therefore becomes property of the gallery. Gallery personnel may— at any time— determine whether gallery property is kept, used, donated, sold, disposed of, etc. based on their discretion and needs of the gallery and studio.
