Sun Gallery: A Hayward staple since 1976

Since 1976, Sun Gallery has stimulated continuing community interest in the arts and expanded the image of the City of Hayward as a cultural center. We provide visual art exhibitions and educational programs that reflect the diverse cultural populations of Hayward and its surrounding area.

Our Social Engagement

Our community is a top priority here at the Sun Gallery and we love to give back to you. To help bring the arts closer and make them more accessible for families of all economic backgrounds we guarantee that our gallery visits and Family Art Saturdays are always free! But our community spirit doesn’t stop there: we believe that a healthy environment is essential for a prospering society. We arrange annual pro-environmental exhibits to help teach about the dangers of global warming and hope to help shape a more educated future generation. We are all in this together and art is our weapon of choice!
