Sun Gallery Summer Art Camp
Art Camp offers your child the creative
opportunity to learn about art, create original art projects and most of all
- to have fun!
Students will learn art fundamentals, create
individual art works plus a group project, meet exhibiting artists and have
access to a REAL gallery! Each week is different, all summer long.

Full Camp Session (One Week)
Monday - Friday
9 am - 3 pm
Fee: $275 (includes
materials) (Reduced rate for July 4th week is $220 - 4 days)
For Drop in students:
Monday - Friday
9 am - 3pm
Fee: $65 per child for one
day of camp (includes materials)
1/2 day week students:
Monday - Friday
9 am - 12 pm or 12 pm - 3 pm
Fee: $150 for the week
Before and after care $15 per hour
or $150 for the week 8am to 6pm (up to 20 hours)

Session 1: June 17 – 21 Pets and
Animal Week (All
creatures great and small! Draw your favorite furry friend to creating the
wildest animal) with Brandy Tompkins
Session 2: June 24 – 28 Take a Walk on the
Wild Side! (Cement! Wood! Paint!...and more! Create 2D and 3D crafts
with a variety of materials. Bring your imagination and get ready to soar!) with Lind Nygard
Session 3: No camp this week
Session 4: July
8 – 12 Puppetry
Plus! (Create and bring to life your favorite characters plus
learn performance skills in a group setting) with Julie Barrett
Session 5: July 15-19 Improv Performance and Experimental
Art! (Through Improv (Performance) Games we will
learn how to let go, team-build plus be spontaneous. In Experimental Art
we will create new ways to make art!) with Linda Nygard
Session 6: July 22 – 26 Birds of a
Feather, Dinosaurs Together! (Celebrate
our feathered friends and their ancestors through a variety of media: mask
making, tape painting, collage. Imagine yourself as a bird or dinosaur) with Sarah
Sammis
Session 7: July 29 – August 2 Art from Around the
World (Learn &
create new art techniques from other cultures & countries including
origami, poetry, songs and mixed media) with Loreli Evangelista
Session 8: August 5 – 9 Carnival
Time! (learn face painting, make
balloon animals, create your own clown and games) with Laurie Costa ages 6-13
